Creativity in a Crisis
Updated: Jun 30
Lockdown may have restricted our travel but I have been inspired to pick up my camera by Doug Chinnery's video 'Creativity in a Crisis'. It is well worth checking out. Using what is around you makes you really have to concentrate and think. Not having the ability to choose your location but having to concentrate your mind on what you have available is a very good discipline.
This image was created using two blue glass water bottles I had kept in the kitchen because I liked their colour - a bit of Intentional Camera Movement and Multiple Exposure. I was amazed when Doug emailed me to say I was a Runner - Up and it gave me a real confidence boost. I named it sailing as the shapes reminded me of the shape of boats with winds in their sails.
